Goth Boots & Gothic Platform Boots

Goth boots are black boots that read correctly within the subculture rather than merely dark: the
signal is the sole profile, the heel shape and the hardware. This collection holds 23 pairs, all
black, running from a medium block heel to a 13.5 cm square heel, in EU 34 to 43 and US 4 to 11.

Height is the first decision, and this range sits at the raised and heeled end rather than the flat
one. Platforms run between 3 and 7 cm, and heels from the medium 3 to 5 cm of the Gothic Platform
Boots up to 13.5 cm on the Mortuary ankle chain pair. If you want a flat lug-soled combat boot, that
is not what is here, and our boots guide will point you elsewhere honestly. What is here is the
stomping, stacked silhouette that trad-goth and nu-goth dressing was built on.

Then the shaft. Ankle boots make up most of the collection, there is exactly one true knee-high (Long
Night, lace-up, 34 cm calf circumference), and a couple finish mid-calf. After that it is detail:
studs on Raven and Cataclysmic, chain across Myers and Crying Out Loud, bat buckles on Like Magic,
cobweb across No Doubt, and patent where an outfit wants a lacquered gleam rather than a matte one.

Prices run $31 to $94. Every pair is chosen by our creative director rather than pulled from a generic
feed, so the heel height, the platform and the closure are things we have actually checked.
